Modern Garden Renovation – Metal Planter Boxes

Steel Planter Boxes

At Welding Shop, we customize metal planter boxes to fit your specifications. Our metal boxes are made with sturdy 1/4″ steel and backed with support iron to last a lifetime. A new and trendy idea to give your garden a new modern edge. Each piece of plate steel is precision cut with our CNC plasma cutter to you specifications and we will fabricate in-house for delivery or pick-up. We can fit them to an existing structure or for a stand alone raised planter box. We also fabricate bowl planters, ranging in diameter size including: 20″, 30″, 36″, 42″, and 48″. Due to steel bowl shortages, some sizes may take up to 6 weeks to complete with a minimum order. These stylish planters are great paired with metal edging around a flower bed. From large planter boxes to small, we will transform your yard to a new, modern look you’ve been waiting for! Please contact us and send over your desired dimensions to or 512-45METAL or use our online contact form here. Our fabrication team will contact you shortly and will send over a quick quote with estimated completion time.

I am interested in a quote for Corten steel so I can create a planter box or have a custom one built. The dimensions for the planter will be as follows:
    • 15’ length
    • 2’ height
    • 1’ depth

I’d like the materials shipped to my home in Houston, ZIP code 77018. Or can pick up in Austin.

Let me know if there is any additional information you need to provide a quote. Thank you!!

      Hi Alex,

Thanks for your request. Are you completely set on Corten steel? With the current steel prices, Corten is pretty astronomical in price and difficult to get. We fabricate steel planters in shop with 1/4″ carbon steel that will rust at the same rate and is a shade different in color, but will out last all of us in the rust process. There is not a huge difference between the two, expect the price. Carbon steel is more affordable. Let me know if that will work for you and we will send over a quote! Thank you! Feel free to give us a call if you would like. 512-456-3825
